Having sat on both sides of the lens, I can offer a unique perspective. You don't find me model-bashing, nor will you find me complaining about photographers : I've been both, I know the positives and negatives of each role. I do, however, have some pretty simple "standards" and I'm going to be as up-front and transparent as possible in putting these out there (figure it's best to be clear from the outset!)


1. Expectations.

My job is to paint you with light; Yours is to give me something to paint. My images need more than a blank canvas - they need expression, feeling, motion and energy. I expect this of my models just as they can expect the same of me.

You can expect me to turn up bright-eyed and full of energy - that means we'll create some great images together. However, if YOU turn up bright-eyed and full of energy as well, we'll create AMAZING, BREATHTAKING, UNIQUE, EXCEPTIONAL images together. Now, doesn't that sound more like it? - So make sure you do!

I do not turn up late to photoshoots - and I don't expect you to either, HOWEVER, "sh*t happens" and I understand. PLEASE get in touch the second you think there MAY be a problem and 9 times out of 10, we can work it out. It's not possible to work things out *after* the shoot is due to start!
