My name is Joy Cherry, and yes that's my real name. I'm a graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, currently employed as a Business Analyst. I went to school like a good kid, got the degrees, and then I got the nine to five just like everyone else then entered the dull door of adulthood. Corporate America has drained me, but as I've gotten older I've become more focused on self gratification. At this point in my life I am more concerned with doing what makes me happy. I get great enjoyment from applying and buying makeup. So while working my boring nine to five job I became a Certified Makeup Artist. Prior to becoming a certified makeup artist I always applied makeup for friends parties, wedding and proms. I am so ready to embark upon a new career that doesn't feel like work. I am looking to build my portfolio as well as professional relationships and network with other artist in the industry.
