John Running's STUDIO @ 111

My studio is in historic downtown Flagstaff Arizona, a brick building over 80 years old a place dedicated to making photographs. It is the place I work almost every day. A place devoted to creative play and sensual photographs.

The lights are set, the background hung, empty chairs wait, props beckon, “Try me, Try me”, little plaid skirts, tube dresses, a white tutu, silk stockings, vintage lingerie, bins of panties and bras, an array of funny hats, and a rack of high heeled shoes.

The dressing room is empty, mirrors anticipating the models arrival when they will primp, makeup and dress and trying on this or that.

The shooting room is where light and shadow reveal the muse of sensual form and beauty. There is power to the photos made here, of women, sensual strength and erotic visions.

Studio @ 111 go there, play there, let’s make a picture there.
