I've never been good at these things. You try to be professional and you sound like you have a stick lodged somewhere it shouldn't be, killing out all your own personality where as being too casual isn't taken seriously.

I enjoy working with people on a far more casual, fun level. I don't want stiff overly posed perfection. I'm more for capturing part of who you truly are. It is best summed up by one simple quote:

"When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life. - Amy Arbus"

I do not pay models, No exceptions. Depending on the model I either charge per shoot or trade time for work. There is no set standard.
