About Me

A new comer into the fashion industry, i finished high school last year coming first in my school for textiles and design and received a band 6 for Textiles and Design with a mark of 93 for the Higher School Certificate.
I am currently completing a course of Professional Styling at the Australian College of professional styling, hoping to receive a Diploma in Styling at the end of the year. My plans for next year are to continue with studies into the Textile and Design industry, partaking in a fashion course at Ultimo TAFE.
In the past I have won awards for my designs. At the age of 16 I won a fashion design competition with "Girlfriend Magazine" with my design being published in the magazine. Then at the age of 17 my HSC textile major work was nominated into the finals of TEXSTYLE, and I was a finalist in the ATASDA (Australian Textile and Surface Decoration Association) with my Design of a Rose Costume being pictured in 'Fibreline' a textile magazine.
To be honest I have little experience within the fashion industry and hope to meet new people and make helpful contacts through Model Mayhem. I having completed work experience at 'Girlfriend Magazine' helping with still life styling and help out with the styling of Clover Love's latest collection. I was also lucky enough to have been a volunteer dresser at Rosemount Australia Fashion Week 2010, dressing models for White Sands, Kirrily Johnston and Miss Unkon (whom i totally admire). But i hope i could be an assistant to anyone who is willing to give me a chance to work either as i wardrobe/stylist assistant, costume/fashion design assistant etc.
