I'm a budding fashion stylist with an imagination that won't quit. I'm looking to build my portfolio as it's currently dominated by assistant jobs. I'm willing to work with anyone that has a strong work ethic and great attitude. Now let's get going!

My skills vary from high fashion and lifestyle print to video. I'm especially interested in building stories around a period or specific historical event and adding modern day aesthetics.

Through Model Mayhem, I hope to expand my professional wings and work with other emerging artists and collaborate to create something beautiful and meaningful!

Zoila Sylvester is a fashion stylist who was born in Spain and raised in New York City. As a child born in Europe and into a family of musicians the bulk of her inspiration is drawn from music; however history, independent women (Coco Chanel in particular) and the natural joie de vivre of New York also play a role. These avenues of interest combine and create an eclectic muse, forming a woman who has many goals and even more talents. She has spent much of her youth working in the music industry, even pulling together the record label “Screw York” with a group of friends. Working with Premium Latin Music & Mayimba Music, Inc., taking on her own clientele (Jade) and interning with Starworks in public relations, Zoila has seen “the industry” from nearly every angle. Now, as a freelance stylist and fashion assistant, she most recently has worked with high profile magazines such as Vogue Italia and Rolling Stone. Some of her latest endeavors include working with Creative Director Deb McKeand and Photogorapher Chloe Mallett, Calypso St. Barth, styling a look book for Caterpillar Footwear, and toiling alongside well-known Director, Va$htie Kola.

For all of Zoila’s immensely impressive credentials, when she’s not pinning clothes onto models & musicians (or reading the latest issue of Vanity Fair), she is most likely found enjoying a good meal with friends or a little R&R with her long-term boyfriend and talented graphic designer, Zachary Darton.
