Philadelphia designer Dasjahnne Swanson has created her career in fashion by her drive and Demeanor for the industry. Known for her love in the uniqueness of Couture, Dasjahnne has been remarkably taking over every fashion show in Michigan with her creative and daring designs. Her Determination to bring a new to the word Couture has afforded Dasjahnne continued success in her company. Her ability to steadily come out with something vibrant and exciting has not gone unnoticed.

Dasjahnne was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but moved to Michigan at the age of 6. She spent her childhood creating her Barbie’s clothing out of paper towel, tissue, markers, and rubber bands. Her aspirations to be a designer laid the foundation for Dasjahnnes demeanor and creativity today. In 2010, Dasjahnne entered her designs in the Eastern Michigan University Exposure Fashion Show. Now many would say her first fashion show wasn’t that important. What many do not know is that Dasjahnne went up against 4 seniors who have been sewing for years. Now for someone who created 6 amazing couture pieces in weeks and just started sewing, that was a big accomplishment to her and others. After her first fashion show the word had spread from state to state and big cities. Everyone wanted DUS couture in their show.

After years of designing and sketching for classes, Dasjahnne decided to make a dramatic change in her life and in 2008; she started the DUS Couture label, as it is known today. Designing for herself allowed Dasjahnne the creative freedom to execute her vision to its fullest potential. Today DUS Couture is just designing threw customized orders. Dasjahnne clothing will soon be manufactured into a line located in specialty stores throughout the country. Dasjahnne Swanson, a unique woman, is constantly moving forward and continues to keep a fresh and embracing foothold in the fashion industry with. Her love of detail and design is evident in everything she does in life and in business. Her determination, creativity and out this world talent that have kept her at the standing she is in her company will keep Dasjahnne going for years to come.
