For 21 year old Chanelle Ray the Sky’s the limit. This Triple Threat Singer, Actress and model will stop at nothing to pursue her dream of making it to the top in the entertainment industry.

Chanelle Ray was born on December 16th to her parents Harold and Adrienne Smith, who both exhibit unique musical talents that carried on to their three children. Chanelle happened to be the shy reserved one out of her outgoing older brother Sean and younger sister Deja, but her parents knew that their baby girl was going to be a star. She began singing as soon as she learned how to utter a sound and writing songs at the age of nine. With musical influences like Beyonce , Aaliyah, Alicia Keys, Lauren Hill and her older brother Sean Ray, Chanelle’s expectations for her career were set at such a high level that she increased her hard work and sacrificed her youthful years. Chanelle began to record music she wrote at the age of twelve, and from there she never looked back.

Chanelle has had the opportunity to open up for some of the hottest artists & DJ's in the industry such as Chris Brown, Lupe Fiasco, Rick Ross & DJ Prostyle, just to name a few. Chanelle is also known for her acting abilities. She's played the major role of Tanay in the play/musical “Why Lie You Should Have Told Me” in September 2007, February 2008 and June 2008. Outside of music and acting, she's known for fierce strut and striking features. She's modeled in the 2008 Underground Couture Fashion Show in Seattle, The FAMU 2008 Fashion Show and was featured in the 2007-2008 Divas Collection Calendar and featured in many more magazine spreads.

Although living in New Jersey Chanelle Ray has created a name for herself in Orlando, Florida. Chanelle Ray has completely taken her career to the next level and stepped up her game. Working with the hottest producers in Orlando city and at one of the top recording facilities in the nation, KDS Music Studios. Working with producers such as, ,The Monarch of The Runners, AJ Platinium Tracks, TMJR, The Inkredibles, and also with Grammy winning singer, songwriter Kevin "KC" Cossom. "Star Struck" the first single, (written by Sean and Chanelle Ray) from Chanelle Ray upcoming project is already beginning to show strength on the airways. Debuting on DJ Prostyle's (BET's 106 & Park ) radio show on Power 95.3 FM, the record is getting fantastic feedback from the listeners. Also performing at DJ Prostyles Birthday Bash in 09 helped create the buzz for the record. She has made tv appearances from Fox 35 news and The Daily Buzz Show. This is only the beginning for the raising pop/R&B sensation, look for more exciting upcoming projects from Chanelle Ray this coming year.
