I'm not like most people I know. I drive 400 miles for a "maybe", I push the limits of "we can't afford that", and I know for a fact that I can be the person people refer to as "Oh... yeah that guy."

I don't mind being an outsider to the modeling world. I'm not trying to be on the cover of Vogue or even page three of a local newspaper. I'm working my rear end off for the joy of the work.

Don't get me wrong. Just because I'm unconventional doesn't mean I'm unprofessional. I do nothing but maintain a professional attitude and presence before, during, and after a shoot. I respect my models, and the work, and the passion others bring. Even if a girl is half naked, dressed in a bloody wife-beater, wearing 5-hours worth of zombie makeup I applied myself, I am the one making sure the model is safe, comfortable, relaxed. I make sure that the person holding the reflector has had enough water. I care whether or not the 3 mile hike to the location wasn't too hard on anyone. I care enough to bake scones. Eh? Scones? Yeah. Now we're talking.

Basically I'm a photographer because I love to take photographs. And because I can't see myself not being one.

I'm here on MM to try and find more people to work with. Models, Photographers, Makeup artists, ect. I love the networking aspect of this industry.
