I trained at the Manchester School of Make Up in 2010, before which I worked in fashion for many years as a buyer. Even whilst working in buying however, I always knew that my passion was for working in make up.

Ultimately I want to carve myself a career in fashion editorial and television work, but have also been working for several Leeds bands, as I love the buzz of working with young, energetic people to help create and define their image.

My current influences are the 1920 / 30's vamp, the work of the photographer Man Ray, and actresses such as Thedra Bara and performers like Josephine Baxter and Billie Ray (fabulous 2010 Burlesque dancer!). I am facinated by the way they are unaware of their beguiling sensuality.

I love the effect of shooting in early morning sunlight, capturing the shadow and light quality at that time of day, and adore making up eyes, and making skin look perfect, radiant and beautiful.

I'm on Model Mayhem because I have many ideas, and want to meet, share ideas and hopefully go on to work with like minded creative people, and have fun!
