Born In Beverly Hills of Los Angeles California, Star Zarina Newman Is of African, Cherokee, and Irish nationality. Star Began her Modeling Career when she graduated high school in 2003. While in high school Star developed hair and makeup talents while working as an assistant manager to her mother who was a local beauty industry salon owner. Star jumped into Runway Modeling in 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. From runway to print and hair shows Star's success began early and without the help of an agency or manager she was a freelance phenom. When not Modeling Star picked up the brushes of cosmetology and painted faces for models, children, show girls, adult film, and indie films.
Star has done Hair and Makeup on the Los Angeles and Hollywood scene. While travelling between Las Vegas, Dallas and Los Angeles, Star made a name for herself through networking and showcasing her talents and skills as a Makeup Artist and Weave technician. She began developing other models' portfolios and worked under famed talented petite model Kalema ' Hurricane' Jones. Working as Kalema's personal hair and makeup artist exclusively has helped Star to develop a versatile portfolio and major credit's for films and print. Realizing she was still a talent for Modeling, Star went on to build her own Model portfolio after her Makeup portfolio, where in every image she has done her own Makeup, her own hair and has been styled by Rock n' Diva. Self motivated, talented, experienced and driven Star has only began her career in both fields of Modeling and Makeup as every year has shown something new and exciting! This Star has yet to shine.
