I suppose you could call me an experienced amateur. I've always been interested in photography but discovered a true passion for it after taking three sequential BTEC evening classes about 10 years ago, taught by local (now retired) professional John Ulrick (here's his website that I actually created/maintain for him ... http://www.johnulrick.co.uk/). Since then I've been actively shooting models both in and out of the studio. I've also dabbled in agent work and come up with a few jobs for some of the models that I've worked with.

A sideline of my daytime employment involves photographing people in various posed situations (business type work) which often appears online and in the local press. It's good experience and I still get a kick out of seeing my work being published.

So, I'm simply looking to work with models to build up my portfolio and try out new ideas. I have access to a studio (belonging to the aforementioned John Ulrick) and so can offer models studio experience in a relaxed atmosphere, and obviously you'll get digital copies of all the shots taken. I will normally go through them, cherry pick some out and then spend time editing them in Photoshop. Have a look at my photos to see some of my latest results. I'm open to any ideas for shots you may want for your portfolio so just let me know what you'd like to do for yourself. So, if you'd like to get together to do a shoot just get in contact.
