About Me

I am a traditional artist, preferring to work in oil, watercolor, and pencil. Having no formal training, I am as "self taught" as is possible in the age of the internet and youtube. I am inspired by artists from all generations, everything from classical painters such as Rembrandt and Valasquez to modern day masters like Shawn Barber and Michael Hussar.

I prefer to work from photographs as it allows me to take my time and not feel rushed. I do not have a lot of experience with photographing models, but its something I'm anxious to get into.
