Hello my name is Jason I am a photographer from east Lothian although I live in east Lothian I have recently started renting a photography studio in Edinburgh. I have been studying photography for four years all I seem to do is eat sleep drink photography I just love it. I am interested very much in any type of people photography from portrait to fine art nude.

I am not only interested in one off photo shoots I am currently looking for somebody to work with on a more regular basis to try out new lighting ideas and to work on joint projects together where the model has as much input as the photographer does. This way model and photographer ends up with a fantastic portfolio that each are happy with.

I get a lot of work shooting children's parties and children's portraits. But would like to do more TFCD model portfolio work where I am able to be more creative as working with a five year olds you only have about 5 minutes to get the photo and this somewhat limits your creativity. I am not yet at pro status but I am working towards it.

I have done a few portfolio shoots for other models who were very happy with the results. On any shoots the model dictates the level they wish to work at I never ask them to go beyond the level that was agreed or they're comfortable with.

I always welcome the opportunity to work with keen and enthusiastic models, make up artists,stylists, fashion designers, actors, set designers, body painters, other photographers etc that have their own ideas and vision of what they want to achieve. Although I am very creative myself I get great satisfaction out of producing an end result that everyone is happy with. I have a lot of professional camera equipment and the great knowledge of how to use it to produce the result that is needed.

I love strobist type of location lighting and the style of photographers such as Bert Stephani and Frank Doorhof.

I believe I am easy going and pleasant to work with but then I am biased!
