Hi, my name is Rachel and I just turned 19 years old. Right now I am a sophomore in college and I'm studying Chemistry. I try to focus on my school work but I am also employed full time so time management is key. I enjoy running both sprints and endurance. I just ran my first marathon in San Diego for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and I loved it! Anything active makes me happy because I love to get sweaty and feel like I'm actually working :). I also like to volunteer with animals because I want to make a difference n some way or another. And they are just s o sweet! I recently have gotten interested in modeling because it's basically a whole new world to me since I had never done anything more than smiling with friends and experimenting different looks in the mirror thinking "what if". I am comfortable with myself and I really like to see myself through other peoples perspectives. I recently did a photoshoot that got my modeling thirst started...Although I don't have much experience I take direction well and am excited to learn more about modeling and body language. I have a very creative and upbeat personality to offer and I hope that from this site I can connect with good photographers and grow as a model. My Background:::
I am a mix of Russian and Chinese through and through that gives me an interesting look. (Thanks grandma and grandpa!) :) My family on my dad's side lives in Australia on the southeast coast, while my mom's family lives here in the US. I went to some schooling over there and got to experience a whole new lifestyle which was really amazing. I love to listen to country music because to me the scenery, history, and the lifestyles of the south are honest and endearing. However when it comes to themes I absolutely LOVE nature! Maybe it's because I love fantasy and escaping into pretty much any book or movie that uses imagination and make-believe. For example I think unicorns are so beautiful and I'd love to do a fantasy shoot tied in with that idea. So anything with trees and animals you can count me in! :)
