Popular Panda Photography is a husband and wife team running an art studio and a full service commercial photography studio. We balance this by bringing an art aesthetic to everything we do.

Recently we became artists in residence at the Hardy Nance Studios just north of downtown Houston (and in walking distance from the St. Arnold’s Brewery). This gives us traditional studio facilities, plus a lot of interior/exterior locations to shoot at. So, we have a wide range of looks we can create.

While paid work is a priority we are always working on art projects. Last year we had a gallery showing of our “Sideshow Exhibits Series” and this year we are looking at having another gallery show in the Fall.

If you are interested in collaborating together please let us know and if you need something more commercial done we can work out a great rate for you on that as well.

As for our background we have more than 20 years of experience in photography and Jim is full time faculty at HCC in photography, filmmaking and communications, with a MA in Digital Media Studies.
