About Me

Howdy.
SO HEY, IF I SEND YOU A FRIEND REQUEST, IT'S BECAUSE I ACTUALLY HAVE AN INTEREST IN SHOOTING WITH YOU. DON'T BE A CHICKEN, SEND ME A MESSAGE. =)
I'm a pretty much self-taught photographer (really, that C in Intro to Digital Photography does not count) stuck here in the middle of nowhere. I started photography as a hobby in Fresno, and have since graduated from Fresno State with my BA in History and moved back to my hometown of Porterville. With pretty much nothing to do in my hometown, I've invested all of my free time into my photography. Art has always been second nature to me, and I used to love to paint and draw. I took on photography as a sort of way to speed up the process of painting ideas I have in my head. I'm highly influenced by classic horror movies and slasher films, as well as the subject I studied in college, History.

I think it's a shame that I even have to say this, but I am not a creepy photographer, in any way. With my BA, I've began substitute teaching. Pursuing a career in teaching means I don't shoot nudes for my portfolio, which means there'll never be an uncomfortable creepy photographer moment where I ask you to shoot things you may not be comfortable with. The more daring ladies that wish to include nudes shot by me, fear not, for I have no problem shooting them for you if it's what your little heart desires. My shoots are fun, and I guarantee I'm just as excited to work with you as you are to work with me!

About that dreaded TF* thing: I'm more than happy to trade my time and photography for something you can offer me. If that thing you offer in return is something as simple as a wide fanbase, that's perfect! Don't hesitate to ask! And if I come to you with an idea, I of course won't charge you.

Here's where I gripe, because it's completely obligatory. I work daily 8-4, coach an incredible kickass roller derby team that's an hour's drive away, and work on paid gigs that I reinvest into personal projects. I'm beyond the point where I need to go out and ask girls "will you model for me?" or pay girls for their time. If I offer you a TF* shoot, please keep this all in mind. I have a pretty low tolerance for models that flake. I find it sort of humorous that so many feel it's okay to flake on that side of the camera. Not once has a model shown up to get makeup/hair done, only to receive a txt msg from me with some phoney excuse as to why I won't show up.. So why do it to me? I'm serious about my craft, please respect that and be serious as well. Being on set with my MUAH and I is a freaking blast, not tedious at all, and we're pretty kickback.. You know, assuming you make it and don't stand us up. Thanks for reading!

If you're just getting started out, and would like to add some kickass pictures to your portfolio, I do have a deeply discounted rate that includes hair and makeup by my favorite MUAH Cat. I'll tag her here once she gets her MM up and running!
