Most of my photography experience to date revolves around food and landscapes, but I’ve always had an interest in portraiture and have recently started taking it fairly seriously as an interest and skill that I wish to pursue. I’ve had no formal training and am completely self taught, but after two years with a camera in hand, I’m beginning to feel fairly confident in my developing skill and am hoping to find models who are happy to model for me so that I can continue to evolve as a photographer and develop my own style of portraiture.

I’ve done a few semi-serious portrait sessions and had a bit of a grounding in the what I like and feel comfortable shooting. I’m a definite fan of high-key photography for portraits, and have a preference for women with a unique look or style that is a bit left of mainstream. However, that’s not to say that I won’t work with you if you’re more a classic beauty!

Ultimately, for me it comes down to chemistry. I find that my best work comes when my model is relaxed, has a sense of humour, is comfortable in their own skin and is eager to work with me in the pursuit of capturing the ‘perfect’ image :)
