For me, photography is about looking without fear or preconcieved notions. I make pictures out of a visual hunger to always see something new. My work has been featured in newspapers, nytimes.com, in books and on a book cover, and on many websites.

I am a generalist and enjoy all sorts of photography; I've worked in San Francisco and Asia (Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, etc.) I currently shoot events, stock, travel and portraits. Seeking more portraits (especially dance/stage/music performers and all ethnic types) as well as unique "lifestyle" subjects, the more unique the better. I use natural light as well as portable flash softboxes for flexibility.

My style is more reportage than high glamour -- and most of my influences are Magnum folks, art photographers, and so on. But I also love Ellen von Unwerth (e.g., Revenge), Patrick Demarchelier, Irving Penn, and so on. I work primarily with Leica film and Nikon digital cameras.
