About Me

My name is Emma Ratz, and I'm a student photographer who's been studying since 2005. The bulk of my experience comes from a photography class I took at the local vocational
high school. As part of the class I was required to work with all types of subjects, but I found that I enjoyed portraiture the best. Through my school I participated in Skills USA, a competition for vocational students and placed 5th in the state. I have also won a silver key from The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Since then I have worked at Sears Portrait Studio and with the BizR Babes, an alternative modeling group akin to the Suicide Girls. I would like to work with people who recognize my style but still challenge me to come out of my comfort zone. I look forward to learning and creating with all of you.
