I am trained illustrator and painter (exhibited National Portrait Gallery 1992; HND illustration Falmouth College of Arts 1994-6) and looking to go professional. I take reference photographs for paintings and illustrations and NOT for publication.I would much prefer to hire models for a DAY or two to make detailed drawings and use those as reference but that is not very practical at present.

I am aiming to make figurative pictures regarding sci-fi and historical subjects, and also children's books. At present I am getting a body of work together to show agents in london.

I am looking for some models at the moment for historical illustrations. If I'm able to get someone to model they will be mostly unclothed, but will be shown in historical costumes in the final artwork. It's not necessary for anyone to be absolutely nude, but a g-string would be best.

I also want to do some easel paintings on supernatural and mystical subjects to put in galleries. Models may be unclothed but again in the final artwork they will not as I want to keep it highbrow (There is of course a great tradition of the nude in European art, but nowadays I think nudity is often a cheap and easy way for artists to gain attention)
