About Me

Giorgio Cesarini (b. 1977) is a photographer and graphic designer based in Rome. He has been a professional graphic designer since 1995, and in 1997 become graphic director for Robur magazine. He was designer and graphic manager of entire magazine, for several years.

In 2009 he approaches to professional photography, at beginning with lectures study and after with practical exercise. His primary interest was the technical aspects of photography and in general of the digital imaging. Helped with theoretical lesson with Italian photographers (Massimiliano Uccelletti, ntd), start to understand how create image using base lighting techniques.

Over the years he developed a close and instinctive relationship with light, using it through the camera, as an instrument of exploration and expression. The previous graphic experiences and knowledge of graphical software’s help him to understand how project and create images, not only photography.

In 2012 entered in advanced advertising photography course of fashion and still life at European Institute of Design (Rome). He graduates with success (27/30) in the same year. His preferred genres are drama portraits and still life products, with particular attention to the light scheme and light effects. His specializations are technical lighting effects and high speed photography effects.

He starts collaborations with important advertising photographers based in Rome and for international brands. He was heavily influences by international photographers and post-producers as; Andrzej Dragan, Oleg Tityaev, Alex Koloskov, Eolo Perfido, Steven Meisel, etc.
