I'm a people photographer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. While originally from Europe - I’ve lived and worked in several countries across Americas, Asia and Africa - and consider myself a true global citizen. As such - one of my greatest talents is the ability to make a positive connection and build mutual trust across widely different cultures - basically making people relax and feel good in front of the camera. In my experience - this is universally required no matter who you photograph - from the street vendor in Bangalore, to the aspiring performance artist in Shanghai, to the high powered CEO in Kuala Lumpur.

I enjoy the creative and artistic side of photography tremendously - but I also have a keen understanding of the professional and collaborative processes required to carry the client's vision from idea to execution, on time, within budget, exceeding expectations - always!

I work hard to avoid getting locked into any particular photographic style - but a few things are paramount to everything I do: beautiful light, story telling, simplicity.
