Cosmetology has been a consistent passion in my life, especially the editorial and avant garde side. Currently attending Paul Mitchell the School in Salt Lake City i am presented with a lot of opportunities that enable me to follow my dream. Currently part of the Artistic team (both one with Paul Mitchell and an independent one with some local stylist and photographers) i commonly set up fundraisers through competitions and fashion shows recently putting on a 'green' fashion show themed recycling, everyone has to start somewhere and i really feel as if you don't have to always have copious amount of funds if you have talent and passion. We also put on a 'time warp' fashion show themed ages, fashion through the times. I have participated in many competitions one including a trip to long beach to attend a hair conference, and took third place. Last year i also entered NAHA (North American Hair Stylist Awards) as well as beacon a Paul Mitchell run competition. I love to work as a team and think this site would help network to find passionate people ! I am working on a project and would love to meet new photographers, makeup artist, other hair stylists and definitely models to build my portfolio and work towards my goal of being an editorial and avant garde stylist/makeup artist.
