I have been making pictures since I was 12 years old. I have studied most all forms of imagery, and have mainly focused on animation and 3d motion graphics for the last 7 years.

Now it's time for me to get back into full time into photography. As it seems the my world has turned full circle and I am back where I started. A camera, my hands and an eye (sometimes two eyes ;).

This time however I am not just trying figure what the hell I am doing. In a few decades you tend to learn your gear inside out. The reason I joined Model Mayhem was to find subjects to build a portfolio. I want to use all of my skills and equipment to create images using the classic styles & techniques the masters of long ago. I want to try my hand at recreating classical master pieces that I, hell we admire today. Google Yousuf Karsh, Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Nick Knight is one of my favs. The list goes on and on, the work I see today doesn't really move me. I need your help to refine my craft and in turn will help you.

I am willing to trade my time and gear to help build your portfolio while at the same time you can do the same. I have a firm grasp of photograic workflows that can create truly unique images. The images I want to create are the ones my minds eye can clearly see but have yet been brought to life. Will you help me?

My portfolio here is a joke, it is the hope that will soon change with the help of the generous and talented community here on Model Mayhem. There are some very beautiful people here. I dont need anyone in particular. I find beauty in everyone.

I want to use traditional lighting patterns and light setups that will truly flatter any subject. I will create images that will get you noticed. All you have to do is reach out and I will be there. I will work as hard as it takes to make your and my vision into a reality.

I know all the rules in lighting, posing, and color choices that will not distract the viewer of the images from seeing what I intend for them to see. Now it is time to put all of my years of knowledge to work. I just need your help.

I do lots of free lance jobs in editorial as well photography workshops where I teach . I mainly teach at various lighting seminars. Quality of light is what it is all about. I have literally thousands of dollars of lighting packs and heads, and modifiers, flags, scrims, and the knowledge to use all of it. I want to share all of them with you and build a kick ass portfolio.

Lastly I want to work on projects, I want to write some books to teach tridiagonal methods of lighting. I have the latest Modern DLSR cameras and lenses. However I still shoot around 20 rolls of Medium format film a week. I still process it at my home. From shot to final print. I do it all.

I can shoot on location or at a full studio. I have access to a CYC wall big enoughs to drive a mack truck into, and enough lights to light up the Luxor during a Lunar eclipse.
