NIGHTSHADOW PHOTOART – unter diesem Namen arbeite ich seit 2002 als freier Fotograf. Im Laufe der Jahre haben sich in meiner Arbeit zwei Schwerpunkte herauskristallisiert: Porträts aus den Bereichen Gothic, Fetish und Erotik sowie Promotion- und Artworkbilder für Bands aus der Gothic Szene – darunter so klingende Namen wie L’ÂME IMMORTELLE, CLAN OF XYMOX, ROME und NACHTMAHR.

Fotografie ist für mich eine Balance zwischen Kunst und Handwerk. Mit viel Fantasie und Kreativität spiele ich mit Bildaufbau und Bildausschnitten ebenso wie mit Licht und Schatten. Bei der digitalen Nachberabeitung setzte ich den Akzent auf die Gefühle, die die Bilder später beim Betrachter auslösen sollen. Meine Besonderheit: Das Einfangen von intensiven Momenten und Stimmungen und deren Anreicherung mit düster-erotischem Charme.

NIGHTSHADOW PHOTOART – under this name I work as an independent photographer since 2002. Over the years two focal points have become apparent in my work: portraits in the fields of gothic, fetish, erotic and promotion and artwork pictures of bands from the gothic scene – among them quite prominent names: L’ÂME IMMORTELLE, CLAN OF XYMOX, ROME and NACHTMAHR.

I believe photography to be a balance between art and craft. With plenty of fantasy and creativity I play with image composition and detail as well as with the patterns of light and shadow. When postprocessing I place emphasis on the emotions I want to provoke in the beholder. My characteristic is the capture of intense moments and moods and their enrichment with a special somber erotic charm.
