I have been a practicing artist for over twenty, painting the human form in motion and within a narrative setting. I am represented by a prestigeous London Gallery. Recently my work has moved towards the narrative, concentrating on body form, creating a subtle story within the painting. My work is influenced by Pre-Raphaelite paintings and works by Caravaggio, Gustav Klimt and Hammersoi amoung many others.
I am looking for interesting models, both male and female, who are comfortable posing semi nude ( shoulders, back, hips that type of thing ) However this is not essential as I will also be working on head and shoulders and clothed poses too. I am also open to the the model adding their own ideas, props and personality into the mix. I mainly work from photographs, but if the model is open to the idea, draw from life too. I like your work, Fletcher. I notice the Pre-Raphaelite 'look' especially. But I think what I like most is the sense of dignity in your pictures -- that they enhance rather than depreciate the humanity of your models. A rare quality, I think.
