See Me Not My Label is a new brand set up to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.
Description
See Me Not My Label aim to promote discussion of mental health between people who would not usually talk about the subject therefore raising awareness. Our T-shirts have a quirky and edgy image that will hopefully make someone think about the stigma that happens due to lack of understanding about mental health.

The brand name “see me not my label” comes from the fact that there is a person behind the diagnosis of a mental health condition. The coconut comes from the thought that people are often “labelled” “nuts” when in-fact they are a human being suffering from an illness, just like the coconut which is “labelled” a “nut” when it is in-fact a fruit!

We are in no way able to be even half as informative as some companies or charities that do such fantastic work. We are working in association with Mind, by financially donating to them through the sale of our T-shirts and providing a link on our website to signpost people where to get up to date information. Through social networking sites we intend to further promote discussion and by having fundraising events.

Experience:

Started modelling photoshoot in 2010 before that mostly covered music/event photoshoots for a cpl years so to build up my work i would like to work with models that can do photoshoots in County Durham & Newcastle Upon Tyne

I'm Lee Connor an up and coming photographer from the north east of england. I am striving to become a freelance portrait photographer and i've joined model mayhem to find up and coming models. At the moment i am working on building up my portfolio at any types of levels.
