I never intended to become a photographer, but as my art evolved from designing characters and intellectual properties on paper and in the computer to bringing those designs to life with real people, I quickly realized that I would have to take charge of the photography side as well in order to not only get the shots I wanted but to have the freedom to manipulate those photos as much as I wanted without needing permission from someone else.

So now I shoot photos as well. I've also started body painting.

Currently, I'm shooting for the fun of creating something I find interesting. I have a really active life but am trying to fit one shoot a month into my schedule if possible.

I'm not a photo snob, nor am I doing this as a means of financial survival, so I tend to share the photos I shoot with models pretty easily without, say, restricting shoots to a small handful of photos. I'm usually willing to share all photos with the model, so long as I do get credit and a link where applicable. I don't have time to edit all the photos, and I tend to go for the ones I like the best, though I am willing to consider touching up a photo or two that my collaborator really, really likes.
