I am a fine artist currently based near Dundee, Scotland.

My main body of work is photography and philosophy inspired. I pioneer new forms of photographic imagery, sculpture, installation and film. My fine art photographs are mainly portraits, although I enjoy a moody landscape, or anything that conveys emotion. I have been a professional photographer for over 40 years, my portfolio includes corporate work, weddings and events, but I'll only shoot if the client is interested in my fine art aesthetic!

Alongside digital, I still work using film, and also glass plate negatives on large format cameras.

Recently I completed my Masters in Fine Art and Humanities, that has inspired me to do research about the philosophy of photography, what a photograph is - and isn't, why a photograph becomes intertwined with memory, nostalgia and many more thoughts! I aim to take this research and create new bodies of work inspired by it.
