"For as long as I can remember I have obsessed myself with photographing life as it happens. I wish more people felt that photography was an adventure, the same as life itself and felt that their individual feelings were worth expressing. To me, that makes photography more exciting. We look at the world and see what we have learned to believe is there, what we have been conditioned to expect... but, as photographers, we must learn to relax our beliefs. Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. I love natural beauty and exploring the world we live in through the lens, a good snapshot stops a moment from running away.
