In 2009 ali was the winner of the Godfrey Argent Award & ELLE commission from the 2009 Taylor Wessing Photographic PortraitPrize. in 2010 ali photographed Los Angeles born singer/ songwriter Lauren Pritchard for ELLE magazine. In 2014 ali was commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery in London to photograph a portrait of Dame Christine Beasley, for exhibition, to commemorate her contribution to British nursing & culture. In 2014 ali launched the Royal College of Nursing 100 years photography competition with her image of a nurse. ali is a regular photographer for the prestigious contour course at De MontFort university, with work being featured in Underlines Magazine. Hi ali I noticed that you are a photographer and from the Birmingham area. There is a networking event that i think would be very beneficially for you for the field that your in. There will be a few modeling agents scouting and photographers. Its a networking event for people in the field of Media, so models, dancers, actors, make up artists, director, cameramen, designers, stylists, photographers etc will be there. It will be a great way to get more work, exposure and knowledge of you field. I thought that i would let you know since you live in the west midlands and the event is in Birmingham.
