Neda Faraji is a 25 year old Persian-American, born on January 19th, 1988 in Chicago, IL. She grew up in Chicago till she was 13 and then moved to Rancho Santa Fe, CA with her family.

Neda graduated from Torrey Pines High School in 2006. When she was a high school student, she opened up an all-girls high school in Iran with her family. The high school gives women in Iran the resources and opportunities that are not given to them by the government.

In 2006, Neda was admitted to Purdue University. She attended the University and graduated in 2010 with a double major in Communication and Sociology, as well as a minor in Religious Studies. While being a full time student, she worked as an intern for Sports Illustrated and at Purdue’s Daily Student Newspaper. Upon graduation, Neda started getting involved in Media Industry as well as the Entertainment Industry. She interned at San Diego 6 News, The CW. She’s been featured on The CW, San Diego 6 News, covering America’s Next Top Model Casting for Cycle 16. To further her interest in Television, she played a reoccurring role on CBS' National Daytime Talk Show, "The Doctors". Neda made a guest appearance on NBC's 'The Jeff Probst Show'. Other networks she has appeared on are truTv's "101 World's Dumbest Inventions" and Travel Channel's "Amazing Boardwalk Empires".

On the side, she’s modeled for retailers of Baby Phat, South Pole, House of Dereon, Akademiks, Ed Hardy, SexyHair, Dahdoul Inc., as well as ShirtOGram. She also is a Spokesperson for iGrad, Hot-N-Tidy, and W3VA Daily.

In November 2010, Neda vied for the title of Miss California USA 2011, with no experience or history in pageantry. The journey in itself gave her more than what she could’ve asked for. Raising $10,000 in sponsorship funds, arranging a golf tournament, dinner, silent/live auction, and marketing her candidacy amongst a variety of media outlets (newspapers, social network sites, newsletters reaching 4,000 people, flyers, banners, etc.), taught her that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.

Neda loves to travel and has visited Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Russia, Iran, China, Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and plans to continue to travel. She lived in in Florence, Italy for 2 months while completing a study abroad and absolutely fell in love with the Italian culture!

One of the most distinct things about Neda is her positive attitude. She perceives life optimistically and sees every experience as a learning opportunity. Her ambition, affirmativeness, and charisma is what has driven her to where she is and where she will be in the future.
