I am a photographer.

Since May 1994, I have been serving our country in the United States Navy. While in uniform I have had to keep some opinions to myself or simply look the other way in situations that I knew were wrong. My initial goal was for photography to be my voice - to speak up for me and a voice for my brothers and sisters in uniform.

Photography is more than a voice.

It is teaching me about myself, my thought process, and equally important - this discipline of art is teaching me about other people. Most religions preach to better mankind; sometimes through faith and others through a process specific to their belief.

I was raised Roman Catholic; now I am a practicing Photographer. I have faith in my process of capturing images that will evoke emotion, challenge a thought, inspire an action. Regardless if that emotion is exciting or disappointing, to the viewer, it has stirred something within. Your internal response to viewing the images I captured is you communicating to me. Now that is faith-based photography!

I'm a full-time photography student at the Academy Of Arts University; in the process of attaining my MFA in Fine Art Photography. My studio space is in Tonawanda.
