Kurt Brugel creates strangely honest art. A lifelong resident of Wilmington, Delaware,
Kurt was introduced to art at an early age. The Howard Pyle tradition has been the greatest and most continual influence on him. Kurt graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a Fine Arts Degree in 1992. Kurt Brugel is a real guy, making real drawings. His primary focus in technique and medium is a pencil and
a piece of paper, completing most works in colored pencils on toned papers.

Currently he is working on a series of drawings called: Women of the Woods. A majority of these drawings will be exhibited at the www.illuxcon.com Artist Showcase in October 2016.
