About Me:

My name is Sean Ong, a photographer based in New York who focuses on fashion/glamour/beauty portraits.

Thought I've been surrounded by artists all my life, from my parents to my siblings, to an entire high school (Fiorello H. LaGuardia) filled with them, I always thought my days as an artist were behind me. After pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, I was certain I would never find time to create art again.

The lack of an artistic outlet in the IT field has left me feeling empty, always searching for something to create. After picking up several expensive hobbies, all of which succeeded in keeping me temporarily occupied, only photography stuck. What started out as an obsession for more gadgets ended up as something I can no longer live without.

Now, as a married man and as father, photography couldn't have come at a better time in my life. As my family grows, I'm finding myself ready to take what started out as a "hobby" to the next level.
