About Me

As a young girl, I was always dressing barbie dolls and imagining them on a stage singing or acting in what I had styled them in. I began my life, thinking I was going to be a veterinarian. But it was when I attended my first year of high school at a Uniform school that I realized that I was more interested in what everyone was wearing on free days than I was interested in school. My parents switched my school in the 10th grade and that's where my career began.

I started at Downtown Magnets High School in the Fashion Careers Center Magnet (FCC) and began to learn the ins and outs of fashion design. As I learned more and more about the technical applications of putting together garments, I began to also educate myself on certain high end designers such as Alexander McQueen, Gareth Pugh, John Galliano & Christian Dior, & looked up to them as muses. In my senior year, I created a collection entitled Girlish Rebellion, which told a story of a free spirited young girl who wore whatever she wanted, not caring what others thought.

My vision for fashion grew as I attended Los Angeles Trade Tech College. I began to learn how to sketch, create patterns, drape on a dress form, & the properties of cutting and sewing different fabrics. I took this knowledge and ran with it, finding my style wasn't exactly frilly girl clothing but more of a high end, strong, structured, urban street clothing. I finished my schooling at LATTC, making a slew of one of a kind pieces for their fashion show "Gold Thimble" & gaining my certificate in fashion design. I realized while there are many great designers in the world, my focus was mainly on Alexander McQueen and Gareth Pugh because of their willingness to create without caring what the critics were going to say.

As I sat at home, most days I watched a lot of Project Runway. My sister told me about a show called House of Glam, where it was more about the styling end of fashion, as opposed to the design end. As I began to intern in the fashion industry, I achieved an internship with a celebrity stylist, who taught me a lot about the styling industry of fashion. I began to fall in love with styling and realized that's where my heart truly laid.

To this day, I've been blessed to get my name out there in not only design, but styling as well, with up and coming singers and actors and wish to get my name out more in a bigger crowd. I have seven years of experience in the industry and I refuse to look back. I am very dedicated to fashion and look to street artistic people (tattoo artists, graffiti artists etc.) as inspiration. My design style is always edgy and wen I style I like to have fun and play with the notion of putting my client in something that will make them stand out but going with their own personal style.

I am here to create and build relationships with designers, models, photographers, make up and hair artists, as well as stylists so I can learn more and build upon my knowledge of the styling and fashion industry.

To get in contact with me you can email me at [email protected]. Please include the look or theme you are going for, size of your model(s) and if you would like me to design specific garments for your vision. Note that if I'm creating looks for your vision depending on the number of garments and the time spent, there will be a fee for my styling as well as design. For just styling I am willing to do TFP/TFCD.
