I'm Kathy Roland, a makeup artist based in Singapore. I started out in this industry as a freelance makeup artist three years ago, but only took my diploma this year, 2010. I graduated with a distinction and am looking to expand my portfolio after being stagnant for a couple of years.

My working style is relaxed, interactive and as flexible as possible. I am really mostly a fun-loving, hippie kind of makeup artist, so I would say I am rather easy to work with (I hope).

I use a variety of brands, from Maybelline to MAC. I can do really simple hair styling, but if you are looking for a complicated hairdo, I would have to call my partner in crime, my professional best friend cum hairstylist, so please tell me in advance!

I am also an amateur photographer & graphic designer. I formed my own makeup team in 2009, labelled Indie Artisan. Rather than having a permanent number of staff working with me, it is mostly on a freelance basis.
