Thanks for stopping by ... I am an advanced amateur photographer (a New York Institute of Photography alum), raised in South Africa in the amazing natural beauty of the country. I lived through the upheaval of the apartheid era and the birthing of the rainbow nation. All of these have had a profound effect on my vision and photography.

So how would I define my genre? Well it is a little eclectic, travel is what got me into photography, but I now lean towards a more photojournalism style in my travel work. I loves wildlife photography, especially when on safari in Africa, but sadly don't get to do that often enough. My other passion is portraiture, and will take every opportunity to find someone to shoot.
