About Me
**** Notice**** I am currently looking for a professional model clientele.
I'm Christian Hamilton, Photographer. I began shooting photographs in 1992 and completed 2 years of formal training as a photographer at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I take a lot of pride in processing digital photography in the same mannerisms that film would be processed. I will always shoot and process images in the most dynamic, eye-pleasing fashon. I attempt to use selective focus to bring a fresh, dynamic appearance to all my photographs. I see myself as a tool, a photographer, an individual that will capture your true essence. My style of work is to allow you to be you and offer little to no direction as to what pose, outfit or look you wish to display. My sessions are all about you. The most important thing is producing professional, dynamic images while keeping a light and fun working enviornment. What are you waiting for? Let me fill your portfolio with glamorous, vivid, professional images. I do provide professional photography services for non-professional and professional models. I am open to TFP/TFCD sessions so please feel free to ask. You can contact me at [email protected] for questions regarding setting up a session or on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/profile.php?id=1615711032 Models when you contact me about a shoot be sure to include answers to the following questions with your message. 1. What are you looking to get from a photo shoot? Please have a general idea of what you want to shoot, the wardrobe, the location, etc. 2. Do you have a problem taking direction during a shoot? 3. Are you willing to put in 2-3 hours to get the images we need? 4. Will you be shooting nude or topless? 5. Do you have a problem with people watching you during the shoot? 6. When are you available to set up a shoot date? 1. Relax. This is about having fun. 2. Models must sign releases. No exceptions. 3. Unless otherwise agreed upon, I do not provide wardrobe. Please have three to five outfits for the shoot so we can work on different looks for you. Outfits can be anything you want them to be depending your modeling style. 4. I highly recommend makeup artists for all modeling work: I can arrange for one at an additional charge (which goes right to the artist: I do not get any commissions or referral fees of any sort.) Models are encouraged to get one, even if itâs just a friend who can help you. If youâve never done makeup for photography before, be aware that a somewhat heavier makeup than you might wear casually is often appropriate. 5. We will work though the shoot together so that we capture the best images that we can. 6. Your input is welcomed at any of the shoots that we may do together. As they say two heads are better than one. Donât be afraid to speak up. 7. You are welcome to bring music to play during the shoot. I can also provide a wide variety of music on request. 8. There is no alcohol or drug use during the shoot. If you arrive impaired the shoot will not take place. 9. Images may not be resold, or distributed without permission. 10. You must have a photo ID to prove age. I donât care how old you are, I still want to be able to verify your age before shooting. 11. Models under 18 MUST have a Minor Release Form. Itâs optional to be accompanied by parent or parents (although highly suggested). Photo Shoot Rules Escorts New models note that is a good idea to always bring an escort to a photo shoot. As you may be willing to get exposure in this business, and make a name for yourself this is still a crazy world. You don't know the people that you meet here, and it is best to protect yourself. Bring whoever is going to make you feel most comfortable while shooting. Escorts are there for your protection not to direct me as a photographer If an escort becomes a problem the shoot will end at that time. No Refunds Given Models Using Modeling Websites/Forums - Credit One of my biggest pet-peeves that I see is the lack of credit given to those that helped to create an image. If you work with me you will get full credit in the form of a link back to your modeling page on every image posted by me as well as your name, and number listed in the credit section of my profile. The only thing I ask is that you link back to me as well. Thank you. Trade for Portfolio (TFP) Work â What You Can Expect 1) A friendly, professional demeanor from the photographer. 2) Work that is a reasonable approximation of the photographerâs talent and expertise. 3) The model may only use the photographs for self-promotion and may not sell or relicense them. Types of Nude Photography âNaughty bitsâ is a generic term which is itself subject to some interpretation, but generally includes the breasts, specifically the areolae and nipples, and everything from the top of the hips to the top of the thighs, on both sides. The definitions are written from the modelâs point of view. 1. Implied Nude: Iâm not taking my clothes off, but I will allow you to take pictures of me which donât show any clothing, implying that I am not wearing any. 2. Hidden or Covered Nude: I will allow you to take pictures of me not wearing any actual clothing, but with some sort of opaque drape or prop (possibly including my limbs) covering a given area including my naughty bits. 3. Sheer: I will allow you to take pictures in which my naughty bits are somewhat visible through a transluscent material, the exact opacity of the material to be negotiated. 4. Semi-nude: I will allow you to take pictures of me in which my breasts and possibly my behind are visible at the same time as my face. Note that this does not go by volume of skin exposed, as a model wearing a bikini is a lot closer to nude than a model wearing a catsuit with the naughty bits cut out, but the first isnât even semi-nude and the second probably equates to at least ânudeâ on the rating scale. Example: Early Playboy Magazine. 5. Artistic Nude: I will allow you to take pictures of me while I am not wearing any clothes if they are interestingly framed, strangely posed, or oddly lighted so as to not look like just pictures of me not wearing any clothes. Example: Doug Lester. 6. Figure Nude or Figure Study: I will allow you to take pictures of me in direct lighting while I am not wearing any clothes, but my expression will be neutral and I will be wearing little or no makeup so as to make clear that this is a figure study and not meant to be provocative, erotic, or otherwise non-serious. Example: Edward Weston. 7. Nude or Casual Nude: I will allow you to take casually posed, full-body pictures Erotic nude: will assume provocative expressions and allow you to take pictures 8. of me in directI lighting while I am not wearing any clothes. Example: domai.com. of me which draw particular attention to my naughty bits while I am not wearing any clothes. Example: Modern Playboy Magazine. 9. Adult nude: I will assume sexually explicit poses and allow you to take pictures of me engaging, or suggesting that I am about to engage, my naughty bits in action while I am not wearing any clothes. Example: Hustler Magazine. Thank you and look forward to working with you.
