Hi there, I'm a Dutch filmmaker interested in photography.
As a filmmaker I'm familliair with lighting and composition, but nevertheless photography is a great variation on movie-making. The absence of sound and motion make it a totally different medium.

As a photographer I'm still learning. As an artschool student I learnt some basic stuff, but I want to develop my skills further now.
I'd like to develop a conceptual surrealistic style with a mythical flavor, but maybe I should first master all the techniques ;-)
So shooting portraits and fashion seems a good way to master these skills and this site seems to be a good place to start...

Although I'm usually shooting corporate videos and commercials, I also make short no-budget short films to expand my portfolio (and because it's fun!). So I will be looking around for acting-talent as well.

Voor alle Nederlandslezenden:
In het dagelijks leven ben ik filmmaker.
Ik maak vooral bedrijfsfilms, reportages en commercials voor het bedrijfsleven en (semi-)overheid.
Daarnaast maak ik ook een paar keer per jaar korte filmpjes. Gewoon omdat het leuk is om nieuwe dingen uit te proberen en met andere mensen samen te werken.

Fotografie is een leuke afwisseling met bewegend beeld.
Het vraagt om een iets andere benadering en dat maakt het een leuke uitdaging.
