About Me

I've been drawing since I could remember. I really enjoyed a lot of art programs growing up.t I used to watch a program growing up where the artist would talk about a book and start drawing a sceen from it. I was always fascinated by the way he could quickly draw out the scene and give it such character. As I grew older I was started getting into Heavy Metal magazine and loved the artwork displayed in the comics. Two come to mind Paolo Serpieri and Luis Royo made pictures of women look just breath taking. The character Druuna was so perfect words couldn't describe her. The ethnic look really appealed to what I was trying to do so I gravitated to it. After that I started looking at photography works from Jules Allen and Marc Baptiste. The candid and shadowy look of the photos capped off were I wanted to go with my artwork(most of which was inspired by them). I recreated some of their photos and used my own models and just went on from there. Women come in so many shapes and sizes it gives me such a wide range to work from. The women in my life determine if I created art or just a naked chick. I don't want to do just a naked chick. The picture has to flow and have a "poetic" feel to about it. I hope everyone enjoys what they see. Thank you.
