Hi! My name is Stefanie Bobowski and I have been doing makeup for ten years or so.  I had always enjoyed messing around with makeup and then one year for Christmas, I received some nice brushes and Kevyn Aucoin's book "Making Faces" and I was hooked (I still have those brushes,too!)!  Since then, I have gotten involved in a very diverse range of projects and having the freedom to be a part of all of these things is why I have chosen to be a freelance artist.  It's exciting to have a three A.M. call time and to watch the sun rise while shooting a music video on the beach but, it is just as thrilling to be a part of someone's special moments in life, whether it be her wedding day, her first baby announcement, or her fiftieth wedding anniversary.  I love bringing out a person's natural beauty and it is indescribable when I get to see the look on someone's face after seeing herself for the first time in that way. Collaborating with people to create something special and then to have that moment when it is finally realized on screen is also incredible (especially fun when I have a cameo, spoiler: I usually die!). I have been so lucky to have been a part of some very talented teams making films and commercials(we won a Telly award for the QR Tax Refund series!), and I have also met some wonderful friends doing community theater shows.  It is truly amazing to be a part of the makeup world and I hope to continue to grow and experience so much more as I continue making memories throughout my career.
