I've been a photographer all my life. I was always the one with the camera, however up until about 4 years ago when i took my first film photography class in college, I didn't realize the true passion and joy I get when I create images with my camera.

I have a bachelors degree in Communications from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND which includes background in multimedia but my favorite is photography of course.

With today's digital photography revolution nearly everyone has access to high quality cameras and will call themselves "professionals". What they don't have is a complete and utter connection with the camera and in creating images with it. Photography is a wonderful thing and it is my reason for being. And yes, plenty of photographers say "photography is my passion" but I won't say that. What I will say is that photography is a part of me and I love what I do. When I feel the camera strap around my neck and the sureness of the weight of the camera in my hands I know I'm doing what I'm meant to do.

So, to the lovely reader of my little bio, I would truly enjoy working with you. I don't shoot nudes but we can still be editorial and artistic with clothing. Currently, I specialize in theater and dance photography as I work with Northern Plains Dance (a dance academy in Bismarck, ND). I am currently doing a photo project with NPD featuring the apprentices of the academy. Some of those will be featured here.

I've also worked with a few models in the area but would love to work with a variety of models to create works of art.
