Hello,

My name is Davon Beale, and I am from Philadelphia, PA. I was born and raised in Philly. After living there for pretty much all my life I decided I wanted something different and new. So, I decided to move to the south and take in some fresh air. I moved to Charlotte, NC. I started taking some classes at the local community college where I later decided I would take a break and pursue my talent and passion as a barber and stylist. I enrolled in beauty school where I would learn to master every aspect of my craft. I couldn't have been more excited. I have always had this huge interest in style and look, even smell. I love cologne!! I don't know if it was becasue I was around stylish people or because it was something designed for me. All I knew was it was cool, and that I would not be seen uncool. As a teen, I would experiment on my buddies with haircuts and shape-ups. Suprisingly, they let me. I guess I had built some sort of credibility with them all that they trusted me. This, over time did nothing but build my confidence and take it to another level. Finally, after leaving my family back in Philly and pursuing "me" I feel much more accomplished. I am now finished with school with school I and now I have even found interest in acting. So, now I have built quiet a resume in film work, and photoshoots to gain more experience. I am also working really hard to build up great networks as well as my portfolio. I am truely excited about my career. I feel like I will have so many weapons to use in this industry, and I won't just have many. I will actually master the many of them. I hear many people say how tough it will be for me as a young black male actor, model, but, truthfully those things are the least of my concerns. If I belong there I will be there, and thats a definite. Someday I will be riding down I-95, and I will see a Ralph Lauren Bill Board with my photo on it. At that point I will just smile and say " I told you so". It is able to be done.
