General Information:

Name is Brent A Cochran, aka Brent Cochran Photography. Born and raised to the age of 25 in the great state of Oklahoma. Started photography there in 2004 before moving to Texas. Currently reside in Cordova, Tennesse but classify myself in Memphis as the Metro-plex allows me to work anywhere in the surrounding area. I am a photographer who loves photos. I love seeing what I can accomplish with a female/male/animal/environment. I don't really do this for the money, I do it for the pride of what I create.

Thoughts On Photography:
My thoughts on photography are pretty much simplistic in nature. I believe that photography needs to have one quality, and only one quality, REALISM! I don't think there should be 7 hours of prep time for a shoot. I mean yes, I understand prep time, but if you take too long, the photos look bland and fake. I don't like this in photos. Yes some prep needs to be done, and some after shot prep is required to complete the image and look desired, but no reason to over do it. So yeah, just stand there, look gorgeous like we know you are ( ! talking to the models out there ! ) and let me take the photo.

Thoughts On Studio Work:
This is a concept I truly despise. Why do all models think that studio work is the way to get noticed. I mean yes, getting some photos for your portfolio set up are nice, but studio work is so repetitive. Come on now, why do I want to look at the same photo, same concept, same look, just change the model. I wanna see something stand out, I want to see you (aka the model) in a photo that shows what you can do for an image, what you can bring to the table sort of speak. So yeah, studio work and me are not a combination. I'M NOT A STUDIO, IF THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SORRY, I CAN'T HELP YOU.
