Milica Maksimovic-Shishalica is a hairdresser and stylist from Belgrade, Serbia. She attained her knowledge by working in famous Belgrade hair salons. She views her profession as a form of artistic expression and not some collection of already seen stereotypes of outdated creations. She always tries to be unique in her creations but at the same time follows the leading world trends and the work of world renowned hairdressers.

Over the years, she has worked on many projects and won many awards:

2008 attended the fashion show: “Fashion Revolution”

2008 attended the fashion show: “Marie Margoth - dark fashion”

2009 won second place in a hairstyles exhibition

In 2010, she became the first person from Serbia to have her work published in the prestigious hairstyles magazine PELUQUERIAS.

In 2010-2011 Her haircuts have since then been published in HJ Hairdresser Journal in South Africa, Penteados Portugal,Frizer Revija Slovenia, Hairstyles PELUQUERIAS,Hairstyles na srpskom, and many other foreign and domestic printed and online magazines.

In 2010 She cooperated with Purple Rose aka ASSASSINATION Shop and together with Marijana Gligic created set of promotional photographs for Purple Rose’s Shop. Marijana is a professional photographer whose work has been published in many renowned magazines.

In 2010 Milica demonstrated her work live on stage together with her team (stylist Lily Lohe, photographer Marijana Gligic and make-up artist Jovana Vukosavljević). The session was recorded and the DVD was distibuted with an issue of the Serbian version of “Hairstyles” magazine.

In 2010 Milica and Marijana did a photo shoot titled “Mary in Zombieland”. The shoot required a model with pink dyed hair and a photo set with a peculiar theme which they created by hand. The photos were published in the magazine “Hairstyles” and online in many marketing agencies. The photos were also sent to a competition in the USA which will be held by the end of this year.

In 2011 Milica and Marijana received a sponsorship deal from the American brand MANIC PANIC.

2007-2011 As a hairdresser, she worked many photo shoots, fashion shows and performance concerts where she did hair styles for the models, performers and band members.

Her motto is:

Cutting hair is your risk, hairstyle is my profession!
