The art of a look, or the fragment of a story spoken by an image; it's all a glorious challenge.

I enjoy capturing beauty in its myriad forms. Whether free or for a fee, I take the task seriously and labor to create images that draw the eye, flatter the figure, dazzle, when possible.

I like to draw on other art forms for inspiration, as I did for the "Degas Lighting Study" in the Femme Fatale album in this port.

I think a great shoot starts with mutual respect and trust. Trusting your collaborator enough to take risks, trying things that might fail, to speak the idea that you would talk yourself out of. I have spent days and many dollars trying to capture an image and failed, and then there are other times when the first shutter release gets it all.

I love that a model brings all of her own history and life to the shoot and I have no idea what that may be. It's like a magic box that I get to open and marvel at.
