About Me

Casual photography is my "golf". I don't play golf...figure photography is more fulfilling.

Making deliberately austere, emotional, entropic, provocative compositions using the principles of design, whether or not my art education comes into play. The market and the critics require some controversy. If the artwork completely makes sense or is too satisfactory, another day will come to tip all that over. I don't presume the biggest part of my work appeals to a large audience, but I still make work with both the market preferences in mind, art history references in mind and with serious, studio art composition practices in mind. We enjoy a lot of freedom in this country, an it's valid and respectful to honor people's choices and interests.

My ModelMayhem profile hyperlink is a print site with over 800 photos and digital compositions...buyer-ready on archival art materials from snapshot-size to 96" plus-sized.

Currently: 890 prints at Fine Art America, 392 prints at Saatchi Art Online, and my drawing and figure photography submission page on my Coldiron Arts website. I, occasionally, need a drawing model.

Hey, I'm interested to come to America in future but at the moment while traveling is still difficult, I am offering remote shoots in Melbourne until March 4th. I'm currently working with other photographers to do remote/virtual shoots but I hope in future to get my own gear & do more on location remote shoots. I have a city central apartment with a rooftop balcony, large natural light windows, a range of backdrops & can use the buildings facilities of a gym, spa, pool & sauna as well as the indoor concreate fire escape. My rates for remote shoots are less than what I charge for in person shoots. Let me know how many hours you would like me to quote you for & if you like to pay by PayPal or a bank transfer to my UK bank or AUS bank. We would tether the camera to the laptop & screen share so you can control the settings/shots. We can chat over FaceTime or WhatsApp during the shoot.
