About Me

Dan Ablan, CPP - Certified Professional Photographer and owner of Ablan Gallery, Fine Photography in Hawthorn Woods, IL. Studied photojournalism in college, and have been photographing since the age of 13. Dan runs the studio with his wife Maria, concentrating on fine portraits. Dan is the author of 14 books on computer graphics and digital photography and teaches computer animation and photography around the country. Dan and Maria have a unique style and approach to the subjects they photograph, allowing the individual personality to come through.
